I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.

where ribcages split on the right and crack whole on the left
the centre plate's gotta shift, gotta move, gotta fall apart
a little of the sweet filling, oh baby,
s'gotta make an appearance, be seen
a tip of the cap with coffee to go.

good news: i got enrollment into a class that i needed. print culture and the history of the book. i'm a happy panda. it's going to be a light courseload this year, but I suppose that's okay. I just want to get school done and get on with life. i'm still trying to get into a screenprinting class because I severely want to get into it more, and i think a class teaching me how will be very beneficial to my learninggggggg. listenng to bjork makes me happy.
CD of the week:
Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris
The cd has been out for about 2 weeks now, and it's dominating all mainstream rock. Every song is either non-stop rock, or non-stop groove magnetism. The track on the radio, sick sick sick, is just wonderful, fast hard rock. The infectuous hooks that QOTSTA are known for have not been ignored in this album searing with awesomeness. The only unfortunate thing about this album is that the track bearing the title Era Vulgaris isn't included on this cd, and its a great fucking song. nevertheless, this album rocks so just respect it.
peace on earth,
cameron

FUCK YORK UNIVERSHITTY
Jun. 12th, 2007 | 05:40 pm
the beaurocracy at my university has made enrollment impossible. i cannot enroll into any classes because they are either full or reserved for other majors. how does that make sense? i can't enroll in an english class as an ENGLISH MAJOR? rather, they reserve seats for professional writing and non-majors. im e-mailing the chairwoman of english to bitch her out nicely.
in other news, John Wiese e-mailed me today. He replied to an e-mail regarding his live performance setup and what works for him in portable practicality. He is a really nice guy and has been really helpful. Plus he makes awesome music.
I haven't slept much in the last 48 hours, 3 or 4 hours at most. I'm running off caffeine and whatever is in monster energy drinks. the green kind is the best, jerry. The best!
I miss kat.
I miss mr. puss.

recording went well. david is a great guy. ian produced the track. apparantly he produced a feist track and that buck 65 album? awesome. he and his wife are having a little baby soon, and when i asked him how he feels about that he replied "i'm pumped". babies rock!? the name of our band is babies...get the 'net.
kat's birthday is REALLY SOON - July 3rd. i bought her some nice cute little things to celebrate her existence in not only my life which she has made FABULOUS, but generally making this world just that much better for everyone else. i can't post what i got for her because she probably checks livejournal. lolzlolz.
devon called tottenham house this weekend while i was in the city. no fair. maybe he'll come with me to a show on the weekend.
went by north by northeast this weekend. it was pretty awful. every show was crowded with akward, insecure twenty-somethings who spoke into their beers about NOTHING. lame. i wanted to see urge overkill. i didn't. i went to a WU TANG dance party. pretty funny.
i love you all
cameron

its almost 10:00am and i can't sleep. i worked into the early morning at the price chopper. i hate that job, but i would hate not having any job even more. I am in toronto and the tension in my apartment is a little thick. My roomate brandon hasn't paid his portion of the internet bill in 4 weeks so i decided to cut him off. i think he is pissed, but he shouldn't make it out to be a personal thing...it's simply business. however, on the personal side i do consider him to be unreliable in many ways. i hope i get to see kat this weekend. we hung out last night, drank coffee/tea and ate various cakes at the groundswell before i went to work. even though i was kind of in a bad mood about some personal things that are going on, she makes me all smiley and happy.
i miss my cat. i think about him all day every day; the pain in my heart is deep. I understand he was an older cat, but im sure he had many years ahead of him had it not been for his accident. i really hoped we could spend the summer together snuggling in the morning after work and lazing around into the afternoon. i miss his little meows when he wanted help to get on my really high bed. i miss his little purring sounds and his coos of affection. He used to bite alot, but it was only out of love. on sunday i think im going to find a nice stone to put at the head of his grave.
today and tomorrow im going to record some vocals with a new band im working with. the band is called Babies and we are mostly synthesizer-based. i guess my vocals will come pretty scream-y, but i hope to try new things. i think it might be a fun idea to see calvin johnson. i don't know what his music is like nowadays though.
that's all for now. i love you.
cameron

for those of you who don't know, my cat passed away on wednesday night. he was hit by a car. i don't want to go into it or i will start crying. i miss him more than anything. i am heartbroken. this is one of the reason's i'm up so late.
Kat and I went to the new ROM with its neat looking new "crystal" hall thing at 2:30 am saturday night. it was pretty awesome, the mummy was great. best part of the weekend.
brandon hasn't paid for his portion of the internet bill in a month. i'm taking the router home to tottenham with me, leaving only mark connected to the modem. I don't want to do this, but he's left me no choice.
found a burzum record for 6.99 in the bargain bin. score.
kat, claire, devon, whitney, mark, nicole, dave...we should do something together soon. no jerks allowed. sorry i couldn't make it out to oshawa, i wasn't in a very social mood this weekend (i miss my kitty).

Some of my friends have shown interest in my idea for a teleportation device. I cannot be too specific because i don't want to give any of my scientific research away (har har), but there are some basic aspects to the device which i can discuss working on. In today's episode i will explain part of my theory of light as a vessel. Essentially, since light is both a particle and a wave, there is a potential for particles to be transfered into wave sources by converting it to a light source. that's all i can say for now. more on it later.
i started this job doing lawn aerations. it seems a little scammy. im skeptical. i think i can be a capitalist though
